Today is a great day to analyze ourselves to make sure we are equipped for the success we dream of. To me the first step in chasing a dream is personal initiative. In order to progress there has to be a beginning action, “the first step”. This may sound simple and in some cases this may very well be a simple step, but let’s say this step isn’t an obvious one. Where do we start?
This question has many answers and the only wrong answer would be no answer (not starting anywhere at all). It doesn’t matter where you choose to begin in your journey to success. What does matter is that you do in fact start. Start anywhere. Start with brainstorming new ideas, create a plan, or just jump right in making an impact in your chosen field. Once that first step is taken, our dreams and determination to reach those dreams will align those next steps we need to take.
The possibilites are endless to where we can go, we just have to trust ourselves and take the first step. Whatever our mind can conceive and believe, our mind can achieve. Kudos to Napoleon Hill for that one. Believe in yourself and Dream Big!!!
Over the weekend I took a major step forward in my career. Being back in the studio in Virginia Beach was an amazing feeling and I enjoyed every single moment. It’s an honor to work with super talented people that are willing to share their knowledge with me and assist on developing my skills. As soon as I was informed that would be traveling back to VA, I thought about it every day until I was on my way.
We had a “hiccup” aka flat tire as soon as we got on the road, but after an hour wait on the side of the road we were brought a new rental car which was a major upgrade in the 2015 Lincoln MKZ. Since we made it in town late Friday night, I went straight to my room to check in and prepare myself for an exciting Saturday. When we made it to the studio the next day I was overly impressed with the facility. There were several rooms with studios and top notch equipment as well as a green room for video production. As we were getting a tour of the place I felt like a kid in a toy store. Honestly, words don’t do justice of the experience I had. It was in my opinion a perfect day. I didn’t leave the studio until around 5:30am just in time for the continental breakfast back at my hotel at 6am. What’s crazy is I would’ve stayed there awake and working on music as long as humanly possible.
I’ve waited on this moment for a very long time and I am excited and committed to taking advantage of the opportunity to work with some greats. This is truly a blessing and I appreciate everyone’s support in my journey to reaching my dreams. I am anxious to let the world here the music I’ve been creating. Soon!!
